Heres what we know so far about the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz

What we know so far:

TheID.Buzzis coming to Canada this year. We are expecting to have a North American LWB (long wheel base) demo on site in Q4 of this year. We are very excited! So excited, that we imported an ID.Buzz from overseas just for fun. You may have seen us driving around town in it. It's short wheelbase model, but it still gives you a good idea of what the Buzz is all about. Its on site most days, however it does go to events from time to time so please check ahead if youre driving in to see it. The North AmericanID.Buzz will be coming very well equipped. It will have a full leatherette interior, large infotainment screen, panoramic glass roof, and all the features we would expect in a luxury SUV. It will come in either a Rear Wheel Drive or All Wheel Drive model. We also expect either a 6 or 7 seat variant to be available at launch. The battery will be 91kWh. The RWD model is expected to have 282hp while the AWD model will have 335hp. With electric motor torque, the Buzz gets up and go quite quickly and still gets approximately 400km of range. High-speed charging will allow you to get back on the road in just minutes when needed. Although a camper version may come much later, the launch ID.Buzz is all about being the People mover.

When can you order your new ID.Buzz?

Although we dont know the exact date well be ordering the Buzz, we do know that we will be the first to know. Vancouver VW is the top volume VW EV dealership in North America. When VW Canada allocates Buzzs to each dealership, they do it based off past EV Sales. That means, were the place to get your Buzz. If you read anything about dealerships already taking deposits, please do not do it. VW Canada has made it clear they do not want any dealership taking deposits yet and if orders are put in at multiple dealerships, they may cancel ALL orders by that customer (as they did with the ID.4).

Approx Pricing.

Pricing for the 2025 Volkswagen ID.Buzz has not been released yet, but we do know the price will start from approx. $75,000 to $90,000. They will all be very well equipped with all the features youd expect.
